Lisa
Sarasini was born in Italy but spent most of her chilhood in
Rochdale. She started playing trombone at Wardle
High School, then studied at the University
of Huddersfield where she was taught by Johnathon Beatty.
She performed Concertos with both the Symphony Orchestra and
Brass Band, gaining a 2:1 Honours Degree.
Lisa
then studied at the Royal
Northen College of Music with Chris Houlding, Andy Berryman
and Rob Holliday where she gained a Masters in Music Performance
and Postgraduate Diploma in Performance (both passed with
distinction).
Her
professional experience includes regular work with the BBC
Philharmonic, Opera North and the Halle Orchestra. Lisa also
plays in an orchestral brass quintet - Tempus
Brass.
