Lucy
began her playing career with the Marple Junior Band, which
later became the Marple ‘B' Band and when the senior band
required a flugel player just prior to their appearance in the
Grand Shield Contest in 1990, Lucy asked for an audition. Needless
to say, she was given the position and went on to spend the
next 12 years with the Band, experiencing the most successful
and memorable times of her banding career to date.
In
2003, she moved to Leyland before joining Faireys in January
2005.
