Jo
began her playing career at Wardle High School where she worked
her way up to Principal Cornet under the tutelage of former
Fairey member Lee Rigg.
Jo
has played for bands such as Moston & Bewick, Tyldesley,
Pennine Brass and the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain
until joining the Fairey Band in late 2004.
She
gained a 1st class honours degree from Salford University,
studying under David King and went on to pass a PGCE course
at Manchester University. She is now working as a secondary
school classroom music teacher.
Jo's hobbies are making Muglets and eating Fajitas.
She
is also The Fairey Bands photographer.
