David Mallet
2nd Baritone
David began playing the cornet at age 11, changing to the baritone 4 years later. David is from New Zealand, and has played in many bands in many grades in New Zealand, including being lucky enough to play in the National Youth Brass Band 6 times including their tour to the UK in 2003, and the National Band for its tour to Kerkrade in 2007. David has also had a lot of solo success at both regional and national level, winning the open baritone title 3 times in 6 years.
David moved to the UK with his partner to experience the best bands in the world, and to see as much of Europe as possible - hoping that his day job as a civil Engineer will cover the costs!
