The Band Patrons Society:

For many years the Band was a self sufficient organisation,  healthily sponsored by the Fairey company. This funding came to an end in 2002 and since then the Band has had to struggle to fund new instruments (or most often to repair old ones!), buy new music, pay for transportation etc. However, if we are to maintain and improve upon our current status as one of the finest brass bands in the world, we need your help! We have formed The Fairey Band Patrons Society in order to: raise some much needed additional income for the band, generate more local awareness and, more importantly, to bring our audiences into the Fairey Band fold. Below you will find several options available in order to help this famous band:

(i) Bronze Membership - £35 p.a.

As a Bronze Member you will receive a personalised certificate, official Fairey Band tie and a CD of your choice.

(ii) Silver Membership - £70 p.a.

Silver members receive the same benefits as a Bronze member but in addition receive a FREE ticket to our Christmas concert at Stockport Town Hall,  and a significant discount on a second concert of your choice.

(iii) Gold Membership - £200 p.a.

Gold members receive the same benefits as Silver members but in addition you will be a sponsor of one seat in the Band and have your (or your organisations) name printed in our concert programmes, highlighting you as a sponsor of the band.

* All patrons also receive a monthly band news letter, posted directly to your door. Email versions will also be available if required.

Seat Sponsorship:

In addition to the Patrons Society we are also introducing Seat Sponsorship. This gives you the opportunity to sponsor specific players in the band. Your contribution will help with that players day to day instrument maintenance and purchase of minor playing accessories etc. and you will have your (or your organisations) name printed in our concert programmes, highlighting you as a sponsor of the Band.

£100 p.a. - Principal Seat Sponsorship / £50 p.a. - Other Seat Sponsorship.
